2.   Stichting European Juggling Convention

We, as “Stichting European Juggling Convention” occupy ourselves, aside of supporting the organizers of the European Juggling Convention 2025, with offering a hotel ticketing system for the organizers of this European Juggling Convention in 2025. This is done to ease the registering for the European Juggling Convention 2025, both for the organizers and the visitors of the festival. Apart from that, we our doing our utmost best to keep your data secure from malicious people. Furthermore, we try to offer transparency as much as possible about both the way “Stichting European Juggling Convention” operates and how to organize an iteration of the European Juggling Convention 2025.

3.   The purpose of processing your data

“Stichting European Juggling Convention” processes your personal data for the benefit of the following purposes:

  • To facilitate your use of Hotel Papendal during the European Juggling Convention 2025, for which you are registering.
  • To maintain a night register that is required for the tourist tax;
  • In order to check the registration at the moment you arrive at Hotel Papendal;
  • In order to send you the registration data belonging to the registration of Hotel Papendal during the European Juggling Convention 2025;
  • In order to send an invitation for a future edition of the European Juggling Convention;

In order to be able to achieve the objectives mentioned above we might ask the following from you:

  • First name;

4.   Whom will receive the data?

The data you provide during the registration for Hotel Papendal during the European Juggling Convention 2025 will end up with “Stichting European Juggling Convention”, after which can be made available for the organizers of other editions of the European Juggling Conventions. Seeing as the website is being hosted by ourselves, there is no hosting provider existent through which the data will be sent before arriving at us.

We never pass personal data to third parties with whom we have no processor agreement. With the parties with whom we do share data like Hotel Papendal, we make sure we have made the necessary agreements to guaranty the safety of your personal data. Furthermore, we will never pass the data you have provided with any other parties, unless it is legally required or if you have given us a written permission to do so.

We will not pass any personal data to third parties that are settled outside of the EU.

5.   Minors

We only process data from minors (persons under the age of 18) if written permission has been given by the parent, caregiver or legal representative. This is possible during the registration.

6.   Storage period

We, “Stichting European Juggling Convention”, store your personal data for a period of seven years. This has to do with the legal obligation to keep all administrative data for at least seven years. This concerns the above-mentioned data in chapter 3, with the exception of the email address. We use the email address for providing information on future editions of the European Juggling Convention and we might store it for longer than the minimum period of seven years. If you do not want us to send you emails and/or keep you email address, please contact us so we can take the necessary actions.

7.   Rights

As a user of Hotel Papendal during the European Juggling Convention 2025, you do have rights. You can address these rights at any time and submit them to us via a contact form so that we can take the necessary actions within a reasonable time to pursue your rights. 8.   Compulsory data

Of course, as a potential festival participant, you are completely free to leave your data with us by means of an enrollment for the European Juggling Convention 2025. However, we cannot provide services to you without having filled in the mandatory information, which we need to provide these services. The mandatory information is marked with an asterisk on the registration form, so it is clear at a glance which information we require.

9.   Security

In order to ensure your data arrives at use safely, and is stored and processed in a secure way, we use a number of security precautions. The precautions we take are as follows:

  • An SSL certificate on the website. This to establish a secure connection on the website so the data is sent encrypted without a third person being able to look at it;
  • The use of personal credentials to get access to the hardware where the personal data is stored;
  • The use of login data to get to the email address that used by “Stichting European Juggling Convention” and the organization of the European Juggling Convention 2025;
  • The allocation of specific data folders for organizers of the European Juggling Convention 2025;
  • After three unsuccessful attempts to log in from outside, the IP address is blocked. In this manner, we prevent robots and undesired traffic from having direct access anymore;
